Standard Concrete Masonry Units

The core business of Carolina Prestress Corp. is the manufacturing of standard paint grade concrete masonry units (gray) and the architectural concrete masonry units (colored).

Standard Paint Grade CMUs

Standard (gray) concrete masonry units are produced in either standard weight or lightweight (green) units. Both our standard and lightweight units meet or exceed A.S.T.M. specifications. We utilize only raw materials and lightweight aggregates produced in South Carolina for our lightweight green block. The recycled content of our lightweight units helps qualify for L.E.E.D.S certification.
